The vision

A well that carries a name.

Every donation brings us closer to a well in sub-Saharan Africa that will serve around 300 people with clean water — every single day.

"I've been incredibly lucky in life — with people who believed in me and helped me grow. Now it's time to give something back."
— Justin Tempel, Founder of Rainborn
🌍 Founded in Hamburg, 2025

A technician from Hamburg building a well.

I don't run a charity. I work full-time as an international technician. Rainborn is my personal promise to use my skills, network and resources to help build access to clean water in sub-Saharan Africa.

I'm Justin — industrial technician, surfer, and freediver. Water is my element. That's why I feel so strongly about the millions of people who have to fight for it every single day.

I've worked across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I've seen the difference that infrastructure makes. A well isn't just water — it means girls can go to school instead of walking hours to fetch it. It means fewer waterborne diseases. It means a future.

No big organization. No overhead. Just one person, one goal, and a growing community of people who believe one well can change everything.

Water has always been my world.

Built on transparency, driven by impact.

Rainborn was founded on one simple principle: every euro donated should create the maximum possible impact on the ground — with no unnecessary overhead and full accountability.

We document every step of the journey — from fundraising to construction to the first water drawn from the well. You'll always know where your money went.

💧 100% Transparent

Every donation is tracked and reported. You see the numbers, the progress, and the result — always.

💧 You found a secret!

Hey — nice moves! The Konami Code on a water charity site.

This whole project started because Justin couldn't stop thinking about the 785 million people who walk hours every day just to find water — often dirty water.

If you're the kind of person who explores hidden corners of websites, you're probably the kind of person who cares about things that matter.

Consider donating. Even €10 gives one person clean water for a year.
